Dewans of Mysore

Karnataka’s celebrated polymath D V Gundappa brings together in the fourth volume some character sketches of the Dewans of Mysore preceded by an account of the political framework of the State before Independence and followed by a review of the political conditions of the State after 1940. These remarkable leaders of Mysore lived in a period that spans from the mid-nineteenth century to the mid-twentieth century.
