It is said, that as the Earth was forming, all land was together to form one single continent, referred today as “Pangea”, and all water was forming one single ocean.
Later as the land got disintegrated in various continents, and initially ‘India’ was at the east coast of African continent, from where it got separated and moved in North East direction. This moving island was (& is) known as “Jambu Dweep”, which finally hit the Asian continent, and is at it’s present location.
